Those of us who have a love for adventure and nature most likely built that admiration when we were growing up. Family campouts, hikes or participating in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts may have served as the foundation for what is now a true gift.
Without this support, availability and access to the outdoors or the proper gear we may not have the love and admiration we all have for the outdoors we now enjoy. Gear Forward is about ensuring that the next generation of adventurers have the same privilege to enjoy our greatest treasure as well.
Through the donation of outdoor gear, Gear Forward will provide youth in need via various noteworthy organizations the ability to participate in outdoor themed activities such as hiking, camping and backpacking.
Gear Forward will soon be releasing their first ever annual fund and gear raising campaign. This campaign will be a peer to peer online campaign with social media integration for easy sharing among your friends, family and outdoor networks. The campaign will be similar to other peer to peer marketing campaigns but will also have some very distinct differences. At the onset of setting up an account to engage with the campaign you will be asked what outdoor themed non-profit organization in your community you wish to be the benefactor of the funds and gear you raised. That's right, the money and gear you collect will stay local in your community for youth in need in your community to enjoy.
Unlike traditional peer to peer fundraising campaigns in which money is the only sought after commodity this campaign is about raising money to benefit your local organization and Gear Forward as well as being focused on finding unused gear for direct donation to a needy local organization.
We strongly believe that participating in this campaign will be fun, enjoyable and very rewarding, especially knowing that you are giving back in your own community. Gear Forward is presently working with partner gear manufacturers, retailers and others to create an amazing prize pack. The people who generate the largest financial donation, gear donation and combined donation will all be walking away at the end of the campaign with an amazing set of gear as well as a spot on an upcoming epic adventure.
This sounds amazing doesn't it? If you are interested, start thinking about what organization you wish to assist in your community and start talking to friends and neighbors about potential donations. We will keep everyone posted via our website and our social as to when the campaign will launch.
If you are a gear manufacturer or retailer who would like to donate gear for the prize packs and partner with us on this campaign please contact us.

Meet Our Gear Forward Ambassadors
Gear Forward Ambassadors are everyday people from all around the country who love the outdoors, who not only have a passion for experiencing all the outdoors has to offer but for also giving back. These individuals all reached out to Gear Forward wanting to get involved, asking how they could help in being a part of the solution and get kids in need outside.
All of the Ambassadors come to Gear Forward with different stories, outdoor histories and experiences but all are focused on helping Gear Forward outfit the next generation of adventurers in their communities.
